Rescue of Count Johan Maurits after the accident on the bridge of Franeker, 1665, 6 January 1665. The drawbridge over which the count and his retinue were riding has collapsed. The count is pulled from the water; bystanders rush over with ladders. Figures in the scene numbered 1–3.
