About this work
The four captured English warships 'Swiftsure', 'Seven Oaks', 'Loyal George' and 'Convertine' are brought into the Goeree Channel after the Four Days' Battle, 11–14 June 1666: episode from the Second Anglo-Dutch War. Numerous small boats sail near the captured ships, on the right a Dutch ship fires a salvo.
