About this work
A bomb explodes in the house of a family on the Ebbingestraat in Groningen, destroying the house but throwing the cradle with the child safely into the alcove of the parents. Remarkable incident during the siege of Groningen by the Bishops of Cologne and Münster during the months of July and August 1672. Printed on the reverse with text.
