About this work
Reproduction of a satirical print on Münster (and Cologne) after the peace between the Republic and England, 1674. A Dutchman cuts the throat of a boar (Münster). In the background, a bird seller (Germany) catches and plucks the rooster (France), and a wolf (Cologne) is driven away. In the middle bottom, a cartouche with a verse of 6 lines in Dutch.
