Battle of Cape La Hogue. Naval battle in which the French were defeated by the combined fleet of England and the Republic, 29 May to 3 June 1692. Plate IV in the series 'England's Theatre of War' depicting wars fought by William III in the years 1691–1695 after the Glorious Revolution, (fourth part). With inscriptions in Dutch and French.
