Decisive victory achieved by the English army of King William III under the Dutch general Godard Baron de Ginckel over the Catholics of James II and the French at Aughrim (or Aghrim) on 22 July 1691. Plate VII in the series 'England's Theatre of War' depicting wars fought by William III in the years 1691–1695 after the Glorious Revolution, (fourth part). With inscriptions in Dutch and French.
