Capture of Galway by the English army of King William III under the Dutch general Godard Baron de Ginckel, 1691. Representatives of the city offer the keys of the city. Plate VIII in the series 'England's Theatre of War' depicting wars fought by William III in the years 1691–1695 after the Glorious Revolution, (fourth part). With inscriptions in Dutch and French.
