Deathbed of King William III in the palace at London, 19 March 1702. The king dies from the consequences of a fall during a hunting party on 4 March. At the foot of the bed stands the Archbishop of Canterbury, to the left seated on a chair the weeping Queen Anne with her ladies-in-waiting. In the foreground kneeling figures.
