About this work
In the center hangs a mascaron in the form of a woman's head, between four birds. Sheet from a series consisting of a title page and nine sheets with decoration for the rims of cups. The sheets feature leafy scrolls with grotesques and mascarons against a hatched background on an otherwise un-hatched sheet.
