About this work

The shepherdess Elisie and King Dion stand before a rococo throne in a forest landscape. They are surrounded by men and women. On the left stands the shepherd Daphnis, in love with Elisie, next to an older man with a walking stick. In the lower margin twice a two-line French and German text. Publisher's number XV.
