About this work

The French army encamped on the Plaine de Weill near Endingen along the Rhine, September 1690. Part of the second volume (1693) of the print work comprising the eight volumes of *Les forces de l'Europe*, published between 1693–1697. The work consists of 175 plates with plans (by Sébastien Le Prestre, Seigneur de Vauban) of famous fortified cities and strongholds during the Nine Years' War. Title in French.
