About this work

Triumphal chariot with Louis XIV and the Duke of Anjou drawn by six princes towards a temple where the Spanish crown is kept. At the top two cartouches with depictions of Jesuits, 1706. Three columns of verses in Dutch and French in the print. Sheet no. 21 (numbered top right) in the series of 25 sheets titled: Supplement to the Royal Almanac, called the Golden Year of the Allies, 1706. Part of the print work published under the collective title: 't Lust-Hof van Momus, with the bound series of caricatures during the years 1701-1713 of the War of the Spanish Succession.
