About this work

Caricature on the fleeing Colonel Sar during the breaching of the Flemish Lines on August 4 by the States General Baron Sparre (or Spar). With verses in Dutch and French in the plate. Print no. 6 (Prudence - la Prudence) in the series of 7 prints in the Koninklyke Almanach of 1705 in the print work published under the collection title 't Lust-Hof van Momus with the bound series of caricatures during the years 1701-1713 of the War of the Spanish Succession.
