About this work

Pyrotechnic display set off by order of the States of Friesland on the Markveld in Leeuwarden to celebrate the Peace of Utrecht, 14 June 1713. Centrally the Temple of Peace, with seated figures representing the four parts of the province of Oostergo, Westergo, Zevenwouden, and the Cities at the four corners. In the caption, the title and explanation of the numbers 1-11 in Dutch and French.
