Oval portrait of Madame Law, ca. 1720. Half-length figure standing in front of St. Mark's Square in Venice, with some dancing carnival revellers in the distance. With border inscription in French and below the portrait, a six-line verse in Dutch. Belongs to the group of prints added to the series Tafereel der Dwaasheid with satirical prints on the Wind Trade or Share Trade of 1720.
