Archduchess Maria Theresa asks Truth for advice in the struggle for the German imperial crown. Maria Theresa seated on her throne, Mercury on the left, Truth on the right. Before the throne, the possible candidates for the imperial crown; on the left, France drives the Elector of Bavaria forward in a chariot. Allegory of the War of the Austrian Succession.
