About this work
Plan of the siege of the city of Maastricht by the French under Maurice of Saxony and Lowendal, from April 15 and captured on May 7, 1748. Three illusionistically curling sheets with maps of Maastricht and surroundings, the city itself, and a bastion. Bottom left a cartouche with a resting soldier and weapons. The approaches hand-colored.
