About this work
Plan of the large theater erected in the Hofvijver in The Hague, used on 13 June 1749 for the fireworks in honor of the Peace of Aachen concluded in 1748. At the bottom, cartouches with titles in Dutch and French and dedications, with two figures holding burning fuses. The plan is accompanied by a depiction of the fireworks and a text sheet with explanation.
