About this work

Scaffold for the firing of fireworks on the occasion of the Second Centenary of the Foundation of the University of Leiden, 8 February 1775. A podium in the form of a temple decorated with allegorical figures, built in the water of the Oude Rijn, to the right a tribune for the public and a windmill.
