The Dutch and English ships in line at the beginning of the naval battle at Dogger Bank on 5 August 1781 between the Dutch fleet under Rear-Admiral Johan Zoutman and the English fleet under Vice-Admiral Hyde Parker. In the margin the titles in Dutch and French. Part of a series of three plates of the Naval Battle at Dogger Bank. The print includes a loose cut-out text sheet with an explanation of the plate.
