About this work
Beating of the preacher Langerak from Laren at Huis Nettelhorst near Lochem by Baron van Heeckeren, Mayor De Wolff of Lochem, and Mr. Sölner because the preacher refused to drink to the health of the Duke of Brunswick, July 1784. In the doorway, the Lochem preacher Abbink looks on approvingly. On the sheet below the print, a three-column poem.
