Satirical print in which the Arnhem mayors Gosen Geurt Bentinck and Hent Brantsen are whipped with switch rods by women on the market in front of the town hall, 1784. On the left, Brantsen with exposed buttocks; on the right, the pleading Bentinck kneels. In the background, soldiers and citizens patrol in front of the Arnhem town hall. The print is accompanied by a text sheet with an explanation of the scene.
