Public execution by burning by an executioner of a copy of the patriotic magazine De Post van den Neder-Rhijn, on a scaffold in front of the old town hall of Arnhem, 22 April 1786. Action by opponents of the publication in which the release of the corporal of Douglas, accused of murder, was condemned. Marked at the top: XVI.D.Pl.IV.
