About this work

Sheet with six depictions of events in Amsterdam during the time of the Patriots in the summer of 1787. Four square scenes with the departure of the armed citizens to Utrecht, the removal of nine Councillors, the guardhouse on the Koningsplein, and the Citizen Guard on Kattenburg. In the center, two medallions with a portrait of Goudoever and the election of two mayors. Patriot counterpart to the first Orange print titled "Monument for Amsterdam".
