About this work

A man with a jester's cap and a flag in his hand rides a donkey. In pen, the name of P.J.S. van Eupen, one of the leaders of the revolution, is noted here. On the sheet below the print, a handwritten four-line verse in French. Part of a large group of prints relating to the events of the Brabant Revolution and the period 1787-1790.
