About this work
Satirical print on the defeats of the Austrians under Governor Ferdinand Count of Trauttmansdorff and General d'Alton. The Austrians look at the moon with telescopes while on the left the Brabant lion attacks Austrian soldiers. Here the date December 1, 1789 is handwritten. Part of a large group of prints relating to the events of the Brabant Revolution and the period 1787-1790.
