About this work

Allegorical representation with an honor column of the bride and groom, in honor of the wedding of Princess Louise of Orange-Nassau and Charles of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel in The Hague on 14 October 1790. In front of the monument sit Love and Hope, in the sky angels with a wreath. On the sheet around the print, columns and decorations of fillets, vignettes of Mars and Venus (= Abundance), an explanation of the representation and a poem.
