About this work

Sheet with a dirge for the burial of Hendrik Danielsz. Hooft, former burgomaster of Amsterdam, who died on 31 August and was buried on 4 September 1794. Double-folded sheet printed on four sides with the seven stanzas of the song followed by an epitaph. A medallion with a portrait of Hooft at the top of the front side.
