View of the Vlakhof in Nijmegen, with the city walls of Nijmegen in the foreground, including the Lappentower which collapsed into the Waal during high water on 4 March 1784. In the inscription, the coat of arms of Nijmegen and an appeal to all inhabitants and officials of the Republic of Nijmegen.
