About this work
Allegory on the restoration of Stadtholder Willem V in 1787 through the intervention of the Prussian troops. Calligraphic inscription with allegorical vignettes. At the top, before the radiant sun, sits Justice with Prudence and Peace. On the left and right, horns of plenty from which fruits and riches flow. At the bottom, a vignette with Liberty and Father Time. Printed on satin with pink ribbons stitched on the top and bottom. Accompanied by an explanation.
