About this work

The Naval Battle at Kamperduin on 11 October 1797 between the Batavian fleet under the command of Vice-Admiral Jan Willem de Winter and a British fleet under Admiral Adam Duncan. The beginning of the battle with the Batavian fleet on the left in line with the ships Gelijkheid and Vrijheid (this ship under command of De Winter); on the right the English ships in line, under the command of Vice-Admiral Onslow and Admiral Duncan.
