Explanation of the meaning of the representation of the print with the Memorial Column for the Seven United Provinces, 1796. Text within a frame with putti and the coat of arms of the States-General above. Below a landscape with putti at a beehive, as a Batavian and fishing under a tree. Also with a representation of the cutting and drying of peat.
