About this work
Petronella van Veen, wife of Hendrik Tibbe, murdered in her living room in the presence of her husband and children by French soldiers. Part of a group of outline illustrations of the atrocities committed by the French troops during the surprise attack and plundering of Woerden on 24 and 25 November 1813.
