About this work
Sheet with the names and signatures of a group of persons who declare that the representation of the bombardment of Algiers in the night of 26-27 August 1816 by the combined Anglo-Dutch fleet corresponds to the truth, made at the Memorial Day in Amsterdam on 27 August 1850. Below on the same sheet the names and signatures of five naval officers who were present at the bombardment and the subsequent liberation of 1002 captured sailors and fishermen, including 28 Dutchmen, from Algiers. This second group of names at the fiftieth anniversary of the bombardment on 27 August 1866 in Amsterdam.
