About this work

Kermis print of the Amsterdam night watch (rattle watch) for the year 1827. Oval depiction decorated with laurel leaves. Several men walk with rattles through the streets, two men collect money at a house. With a poem in two columns and a song in three stanzas. On behalf of the night watch in quarter No. 34 at the Zuider: J. ter Spil, J. Schaade and L. Konyn.
