New Year's greeting on behalf of the cart men (cart man or dustman) of Amsterdam for the year 1837. View of the Oude Schans with the Montelbaanstoren in Amsterdam with a man emptying a dustpan into the cart while another man collects money at homes. At the bottom a poem in two columns. On behalf of J.D. Farjon, the cart man of district no. 19.
