About this work
The bottom is decorated with fluting; the handle rests with an animal's paw on a mask and terminates at the top in a snake's head. Plate 12 from a series of 24 plates, numbered: 1-21, 23-25. This series was followed by the series Second Livre de Vases, consisting of 25 plates, in which the numbering continues.
