About this work
The arms consist of a lion's claw from which a console emerges, upon which lies a putto holding a burning candle. Sheet 46 from a series of 25 sheets, numbered: II (formerly 26), 27-50. This series was preceded by the series Livre de Vases, consisting of 24 sheets, in which the numbering began.
