About this work

Satirical print in which King William I appears satisfied with the deeds of his sons. Prince Frederik shows his father his trophy, a document with 'viol pillage incendie', the cruelties of the Dutch army in Brussels under Prince Frederik, September 1830. Behind a table stands the Crown Prince, who claims to have had fun at his wife's expense.
