Key for the print with a scene from the play 'Het dorp aan de grenzen' by Mr. J. van Lennep, first performed at the Amsterdam Stadsschouwburg on December 22, 1830. Tavern interior with the Belgian captain d'Egelantiers dictating a letter about his victories to Maria, the Dutch maid of the mayor and innkeeper. On the left three Belgian volunteers. On the left the names of the characters 1-8.
