About this work

The air balloon of Nadar (Félix Tournachon) named 'Le Géant', exhibited in September 1865 in the Paleis van Volksvlijt in Amsterdam. The air balloon was ultimately not launched on 11 but on 14 September on a meadow south of the Singelgracht. Plate in a cover with a text sheet with particulars.
