About this work

The Prince of Orange on horseback surveys the battlefield during the battle of Quatre-Bras, 16 June 1815. To the left, the prince on horseback on a small hill surrounded by his staff. In the center, fighting around a farm wagon. To the right, fighting between Bergschotten and French cuirassiers. In the center at the bottom, the coat of arms of King William I. Belongs to a series of prints on the inauguration of William I in Brussels. See also the pendant.
