Cossack Play, 1817

Board game with a spiral of squares numbered from 1 to 63, expressing the fear and amazement with which the Parisians watched the arrival on French soil of the soldiers of the allied army (Cossacks). In the corners views of Moscow: the Kremlin, Red Square, the Main Gate and the house of Mr. Paschkoff (later the Lenin Library). Various squares show Cossacks and weapons. In the center field a depiction of the Cossack camp on the Champs Elysée, 31 March 1814, and the rules of the game in Dutch and French.
