Ceremony on 17 November 1863 of the laying of the foundation stone by King Willem III for the National Monument in memory of the independence and the founding of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in 1813, in the Willemspark (now Plein 1813) in The Hague. View of the construction with the tribune for the guests, on the right the buildings for the choir and the military band where the king lays the foundation stone.
