Satirical print on the problems surrounding the erection of the statue of the poet Hendrik Tollens in Rotterdam, 1860. Officials quarrel while workers lift the statue; in the background the statue of Erasmus looks on in distress. Plate published in the weekly De Nederlandsche Spectator, no. 16, 21 April 1860.
