About this work

Satire on the Minister of Justice M.H. Godefroi having jumped over a ditch with a pole, where his predecessors fell into the water. He has now arrived at the First Chamber. Sequel to plate 46, see for the sequel plate 23 (1861). Plate published in the weekly De Nederlandsche Spectator, no. 48, 1 December 1860.
