Satirical print on the agricultural law, the application of Western concepts in Eastern society. Minister of Colonies De Waal as a coachman on an omnibus (Insulinde) waiting for some gentlemen (the opposition) who have various remarks about the carriage. Plate published in the weekly De Nederlandsche Spectator, no. 12, 1870.
