Satirical print on the defensibility of the Netherlands. While the two naked women, the First and Second Chambers, are making love with Party Spirit, Prussia is seen on the wall threatening Dutch Freedom. Scene based on the biblical story of the Feast of Belshazzar. Plate published in the weekly De Nederlandsche Spectator, no. 26, 1872.
