Satirical print on the discussion about fortifications. The city maidens of Groningen, Breskens, Deventer, Zutphen and Nijmegen beg Minister Van Limburg Stirum for dismantling. Plate published in the weekly De Nederlandsche Spectator, no. 50, 1872.
