About this work

In the temple of Diana, the fathers of Silvio and Amaryllis light a burnt offering for Diana. A satyr enters the temple with the news that Amaryllis and Mirtillo have been found together in a cave. Print from a series of 12 prints illustrating the play Il pastor fido, 3rd scene from the 4th act.
